Sedley Koschel Financial Group is an award winning ,established financial planning Practice Based in Hope Island (Gold Coast) and MT ISA (North QLD) The practice commenced in 1973. The financial planning division commenced in 1998.
We have recently established our own Australian Financial Services Licence “My Wealth Garden Pty Ltd”.
Wealth Garden is a licensee that has a goal to deliver advice efficiently and effectively allowing the client to prepare a draft DIY, SOA, using the latest data collection and risk profiling tools that interact with a web based interactive client portal.
Our WHY is to be able to allow our clients to have the tools to sit down and draft their ultimate wealth and retirement plans using the time effective electronic tools we provide them with in the relaxing environment of their own home or office.
We are also increasingly embracing the merits of ESG investments, and this is one of the purposes of Wealth Garden!
As part of our Strategic Vision and Big Hairy Audacious goal we wish to expand our sandbox (place of business) to Brisbane by moving from a serviced office to a physical office.
The goal is to duplicate our holistic service model in Brisbane.
The Position: An outstanding opportunity to lead an office and reach full potential to deliver Holistic Advice supported by a very experienced team of professionals
We are looking for a suitable person to head up and direct the Brisbane head office for Advice. You will have a small to medium sized client base and be willing to consider a roll in of your equity to a new joint venture after a probation period.
You will be supported by a fully experienced back office and extensive experience by a team of professionals in Paraplanning, Client service , Accounting, Superannuation, Self-managed Superannuation Fund Specialists ,Taxation, Law, and Business services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Professional, ethical and driven financial adviser looking to take the next step in their career who has a long-term view.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- 5 years or more experience in financial services industry and in a financial planning practice
- FASEA Compliant either now or by deadline
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organised ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks for the entire practice and manage all the workflow.
- Attention to detail
- Be prepared to undergo further study to improve your capabilities as required by any legislation or the practice
Remunerations package considerations:
Laptop, superannuation, car parking, holidays, mobile phone, indicative base salary range starting at $100K will be considered, plus performance bonus, generous sign on conditions, database hosting, referrals, office space provision and support staff will be open to negotiation.
